Winning the server

Hi all! I'm Yoter! Most of you know me as a unbalanced crackhead with an addiction to croppers from last server. I just realized I'm an officer!!! Kinda an odd title, but I'll take it!!! Anyway, I wanted to start getting some posts in here because this section bred a lot of traffic last server and I'm hoping to get some traffic in the forum that's NOT me, Lugh, Goldsword, or Loms (he's not even playing this server, slackers!!!).

Anyway, if we're going to do some damage this server, we need to start communicating NOW!! I've played lots of servers, and been on the winning side in a top 100, usually top 50 alliance each server and the one consistent trait of a winning alliance is communication and cohesion. I'm gonna start messaging you slackers in game and introduce myself, when you get the message introduce yourself, tell me where you're from, how your server's going, what kinda experiance you have, how many kids you have, what you want to be IF you grow up, anything...most importantly HOW IS YOUR SERVER GOING, DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AND WHAT CAN THE AAA DO FOR YOU!!!

I think the other officers agree, we want to be on the winning side of this, bb wants a wonder, and I want five thousand cats to make a nuisance of myself with!!! If you're in this alliance, you're gonna help us with this, and the best way to do that is to keep active, and keep communicating. The second best way to help us with this is for us to boot you and conquer all your villages. I'll take whatever help I can wherever I can. I'm sure our other vetern players see it the same way.

So, my tip of the day...POST ON THE FORUM!!! Introduce yourself, tell us what your goals are for this server, let us know who's farming you and how we can help you. I don't care what you let us know, let us know something!

Oh, and if I message you and know you from skype, remind me...I'm horrible with IGN and Skype names.

Hi all, I'm Igorix. Sorry to dissapoint you but I have played only two more servers wich are still ongoing. I do seem to have the ability to make friends with or get the attention of real big players.^^ In s5 I took the lead in a small alliance and suddenly I'm an officer in s6 with alot of experienced players around me. That title will probably be taken away very soon(after they read this, hehe).
I'm 36, have two kids and a stunning wife, who fyi, hates Travian. Actually she hates it so much that I'm neglecting s4 and s5 but... No way I'm gonna neglect s6, hehe. So if I might get a divorce in the next 12 months I hold you all personally responsable for it!

Oh and I think I might be on the winning team on s4 and s5(that ability of me, remember?) so we better win this one!!!

Just remind her that playing Travian is less time consuming than playing World of Warcraft or its like... My wife thanks her lucky starts that I quit Everquest a few years before I met her.

Just get a job that makes you travel. My wife would be shocked if she new how much time I spent online, but I'm only home sixty days a year so nobody knows but me...well and all of you now. Oh, and we see you plenty on skype! Just trying to get some of the more private members outta their shells.

What!? bb_ wants an wonder? That's news to this guy, probably because I don't get on Skype that often. I can though during the summer months because I'm off.

Hi all, I'm Dionis from Singapore. I play "thimerosa" in-game. I'm 27 this year but choose to believe that I'm forever 25. I'm a computer engineer by training, specialising in networks. I used to program the wireless network routers for experiments. Hardcore geek. But after college, I joined my family business where we do digital printing and I pretty much run the design, marketing and technical side of things. Sometimes, I troubleshoot networks, repair computers, kill viruses, design posters, flyers, double up as photocopying assistant, delivery man, driver, internet marketeer. You name it, I do it. I'm the all-in-one multi-purpose worker. (Gosh, I sound like a salesperson lol)

I love travian for the friends that I make over here and learning about war strategies. I spend a lot of time on it, actually too much time, but luckily I don't have a wife, so won't have any problems in this area.

my goal for this server is to build up a huge anvil (my puny army of 47 praetorians pale in comparison to bb_'s 1000 phalanx but i'm working on it hehe), manage at least 10 highly specialized villages and be in the top 500.

Speaking of rats, I thought I had the "Premature Expiration of Domestic Defensive Rodentia" issue sorted... I waited until I had stopped seeing raids at my capital to finish the beginner's quest section that gives you the rat. However, much to my chagrin and consternation, upon completing that segment, no rat was forthcoming. I was shorted one healthy rat!

Hey, Dionis, I am glad that you set goals. I don't think it will take you long to be in the top 500...then you will have to shoot for the top 100. In fact, I think bb_ will make the top 100 very soon.

well spending 1200 gold a month to NPC might have helped him a little
